January 18th many rn’s And most PHC will unfortunately be let go. I would start planning for future as some of these could be immediately terminated
Heard the same thing about the date. I know people are saying that nobody really knows when exactly the layoffs will take place, but I've heard and seen January 18 too many times in too many different places for it to be a coincidence.
@cld- makes sense what you’re saying....so sad about the PHCs, I get the trimming, but how far trimmed, or more importantly, the leverage for a buyout....who?

For one, it's all PHCs and two, it's some RNs. No one will be "terminated" immediately. All will be given 60 day notice with severance package as given in the past. PHCs may be released very early but that is not confirmed. Yes to SSs and CHEs but unsure how many. The only definitive is all PHCs. I am so sorry. I didn't see this coming as this massive. We will be told of the new plans in next week's town hall. PHCs were not making a financial impact. The company is leveraging for a buyout and needs to become leaner to do so.
