I’ve heard this was happening first quarter, now I’m hearing there are thoughts of that being reconsidered or maybe a floating SSR?

Who ever put “I’m in Texas yada yada”- well let’s see March came and went-NOTHING. And so far as notices going out June and September 15th with surpluses happening by July or October 20...GUESS WHAT! that is not 60 days notice. When the surplus affects more than 50 people a 60 notice is required by law, and this will be well over 1000 people & probably much more. BAM 💥 someone else who has heard JACK.
And why exactly the 20th of the month? Is that magic & special?
Whatever they decide just get it over with. Allow us the dignity we have earned.
Another thing...AT&T is opening 20 COR stores in North TX.
I’m in Texas and this is what I heard a few days ago: SSR Surplus Notices will be sent March, June and September 15th.
SSR’s will be surplused on April, July or October 20
It wouldn’t surprise me if they eliminate the position in the stores that are moving to AR and keep it in the stores that will stay COR.
I just hope that they are not eliminating the position at all, because there will many of us, especially the part-timers without jobs. At least by not eliminating it all together some people will get to keep their jobs.
They won't give notice till the day before it happens. It's sad how they treat employees. Guess I'll just wake up every morning in fear on if I still have a job or not.
And to the trolls, some of us may actually like our jobs and want to stay. Not all hate working for the company.
In my area, there are several full-time SSRs and many part-timers. There are not even any RSC positions available at any of the stores in the surrounding area. So I wonder are they going to create positions for those they want to keep or place people where they see fit? I just wish they give us some kind of notice before end of first quarter draws near.
I heard just SSR’s as well In the southeast. I’ve also heard that even though we are full time, we may just be offered part time sales rep positions.
