Two people were fired in my store this week, so I'm starting to panic a little bit, especially with somebody in a thread below mentioning that severance is not a guarantee.
Has anybody else noticed an increase in firings these days? It's enough that I stress over a possible store closing, now they have to add this into the mix?
Were they fired or were they laid off? There is a difference. Also what positions did they hold?
Severance is never a guarantee however it is NEVER given when fired. If you have done nothing wrong why would you even be remotely worried about being fired?
