There are no trucks
Facitily techs splice both copper and fiber. They also work in PPM, I&M and fios installs.

Verizon just placed a 1.1 billion dollar order with Corning for fiber optic cable. My guess is they are going to do a build out and need fiber splicers and fios installers.
Why?
Forgot to mention....they are permanent workers and they are being hired off of the streets.
