Lol here comes the IHX clown parade again.
All 100 plus IHX reps in our entire market do less than 5% of what the retail stores do- not including Authorized Retail.
Believe me, IHX is not any sort of threat to retail. IHX is on borrowed time. When you are all layed off and come begging back retail for a job, do not be surprised when no one wants you.
IHX has the well earned reputation of “Retail Rejects” and you are all literally the joke of every store. If your manager “recommended” you to go to IHX, they weren’t trying to do you a favor.
In home experts are taking over, i install at multiple customers homes where they’ve been signed up by either a door to door rep or a phone rep, by the time I get there for an install there’s an inhome expert converting all services the customer has to at&t. The customer has no need to leave there home
It’s not that retail isn’t hiring, it’s that no one Is leaving. We got a new ARSM recently and a bunch of people got fired for performance. We are hiring new people everyday now it seems like.

Home Depot and Lowes are hiring like crazy in my area. Decent pay too!
Lots of retail jobs in my neck of the woods. Walmart has had a hiring sign in front of the store for months.
There is a mall closing further away as people's purchasing transforms to online. But Fed Ex and UPS is hiring, and I saw a UPS help wanted ad on the television.
There was a Burger King closed in my area for an evening, sign said they were unable to staff the shift.
I know full time slots are going to current part timers if they want them.
Seem to be doing the T-Mobile route of hiring but only bringing in new part timers and if they can prove them self’s put them full time
They list positions, then pull them. No one actually gets hired.
I should have said “externally”. They’re holding positions and not actually hiring bruises they’re trying to stop as much bleeding as possible from surplus.
There’s a lot of retail jobs open right now actually lol
