Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Question for PHC’s

I left a VM with my coach but haven’t heard back from her - maybe someone here can help. I can see members are still leaving VM’s as it is showing on my email. What are we supposed to do now that we are not to log in to our phones?

Did they get a letter yet? I feel like my members will think I’m blowing them off - I did not have a chance to say goodbye to everyone. I had to take a week off for bereavement and lost that time to notify members. Thanks.

Hi, I am the PHC who said that my extension was going to the nurse line. Well spoke too soon, since that was after hours, I called again this morning and sure enough, it is still my VM. Thanks RN for the update to let us know that you will be checking our VM, good to know someone is checking. But boy, what a job, checking all of our VM. I sure hope that it benefits you in some way, contacts etc. :)

We weren't given official talking points, but our coach told us to say "so and so is no longer with Humana. I'll now be your dedicated rn case manager."

As an RIF PHC, I am curious about the talking points the RNs have been told to say when a member asks where their PHC went. For the record, my heart goes out to both members and RNs at this time.

PHC here that was told RN would check VM, hence us changing p/w so everyone’s is the same.

I’m not a PHC, but perhaps rerouting your VM was a task your coach was supposed to complete? If she is MIA on returning your call, maybe she is mentally checked out and just didn’t take care of it.

It does stink for the members though.

My greeting is still there and I changed my password when instructed. Maybe it takes a few days to deactivate all of them.

PHC here....I just called my extension and it went to the 24 hour nurse line number (Humana First). We were told that our extensions would be automatically rerouted to a general number. That is odd that not everyone's was automatically rerouted. We did have to change our VM passwords, not sure if everyone did that or if this issue is connected to that. That would be very frustrating to see that members were still leaving messages and not being able to follow up.

If they don’t get a letter and nobody can tell them the program is ending, they will be left thinking their PHC just doesn’t care enough to call back. That’s the farthest thing from a “perfect experience” I can fathom.

I didn't hear anything about letters going out to our members and I really doubt that would be done since they didn't want us telling members that Live Healthy was closing. My team was told that our voice mail accounts would be turned off right away, but I called my number this afternoon and my voice mail greeting is still there. I know it is no longer our responsibility and there's nothing we can do about it. Our members were just shoved over to monitored and are being disrespected and ignored.

Right I know we are not to call them, just wondering if we need to forward our VM’s somewhere or something? They are starting to pile up. I just feel bad for members.

I honestly don’t care who call the members back. It was determined my services were no longer needed. So I’m going to assume they have it under control.

THEY HAVE ALREADY MOVED ALL MY MEMBERS OFF MY CASE LOAD..MY COACH SAID WE CAN Take the tIme to apply for jobs or do what we meed to do take care of our selves. WE ARE NOT TO CALL MEMMBERS..
