Outsourcing of Client Solutions Executive Roles through Solution Providers - Select Accounts

Account managers (CSEs) within the National Business Group (Regional Business and Select Accounts) are being required to use Solutions Providers to process all of their contracts/solutions for their assigned regions & customers. Account managers are being told that they need to be able to forecast a certain amount of deals with these solution providers. It is being pitched as a way to increase efficiency by having solution providers create contracts and manager orders for sellers. Sales managers are requiring sellers to use Solution Providers. Highly trained AT&T Sellers are transitioning work/relationships to Solution Providers to do their work. It seems that this is intentional collaboration is being used to cut costs and possibly eliminate roles.

Any idea who the solution providers are? Might be a good opportunity to jump this sinking ship on your terms,

Retail CSEs are on their way out. Acquisition roles are going to be thinned out as well. I am an SP on the wired side and an AR on the mobility side. It’s the next phase in thinning the herd for 2020. The company has 70,000 More heads to chop. Where do you think that will come from? National Business and Retail.
