I have been given a job offer (<50 miles) but I want to be given a severance offer. How do I go about asking for this?

If you want severance then do not have anything checked in your job preference on the wire. If they give you a job offer in the system and you deny it you will lose your severance. Go in the wire and uncheck everything.
If your job offer is under 50 miles and you decline it, you’re not eligible for a severance package. Take the job or you will be unemployed.
