Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Why?

There are so many post of people just talking. I see statements such as:

"I see this happening"

"This is line with what I heard"

"That position is going away next year"

Etc.

Etc.

Etc.

Why not just post facts on what has happened? There's no need to stir rumors on what may or may not happen. If you lost a manager or someone else, then list it. If you "heard" something.....keep it to yourself until you can verify it as a fact.

The truth is most of is rumor until it happens. If no hasn’t noticed until this point....... they are being very tight lipped about what’s really going on. Anyone with “factual” won’t say it up because they are scared it will get back to them. We can understand. There are positions that have been “rumored” that aren’t safe and more than likely they are going away. “Fact” we don’t know when it will be but it is going to happen. Walmart didn’t have a great look when you announce higher starting pay and bonuses and close clubs in the same day. Now they want to slowly break the news instead of doing it all at once. They care more about their image than employees.

I really enjoy reading all input. It’s not like it’s overwhelming. I can catch up on a p--p break cuz I got 90 days worth of free time now #babyontheway

If you read my post. I am not telling anyone to do anything. I'm asking them why. Why not post facts vs rumors? I understand what's on the front page.

There are some people who are legitimately worried about their jobs. There are others who wouldn't be phased at all if they lost their job.

So, as decent human beings, I am asking WHY don't we post facts vs noise? Other than the tagline says you can. If your reply is just because "I can" then great....that's why I asked why.

Here's the tagline of this site right on the main page.

"News, personal experiences, rumors and speculations about layoffs at your company"

So I have a "Why?" for you.

Why don't you take 10 seconds to get your own facts before telling others to do the same?
