Ungrateful employees whining about showing up to work. Don’t you get that we need to be open to sell more hums.

I look forward to going to the Basking Ridge HQ resort on a snowy day to play in the Gym and hangout at the Java Bar.

Thats one thing i never understood about Verizon. You are well aware theres a major storm coming yet you keep the store open and expect reps to still arrive to work. I know for myself it got to a point that i just called and told them i was shoveling and i get there when i get there and just stay inside and relax. My safety is more important than Verizon and they could kiss my a--. Ungrateful POS company.

I guess when you work in a VZW store your considered an essential employee, Likea snow plow driver. Remember the free service center is needed for customers personal password knowledge, sitting with the customers for hours on content transfer, and the unopened FedX boxes, you have to be their or the customers will be sitting at home at not knowing what to do. Now get those snow tires on and get to work.

Yes wireline are very hardworking and work in all conditions. I always see the guys sitting in their warm trucks for hours in front of the Jerome ave Bronx, McDonald's about a mile From The Jerome Ave Garage. Next time when I drive by I will write down the Verizon truck number or license plate. NY plate 75256-JX check if that trucks in your garages fleet.

Not one wireline employee complained...these millennial a$$holes are used to school being cancelled when there was a flurry! How would you like to be outside working on a hit pole? None of you would make it on our side of the house!

The wind is blowing 40 to 50 miles an hour it's 15 degrees Fahrenheit, snowing heavy, TV has scrolls not to travel or be out until the Storm ends, and your management can't make that decision to close, can you imagine if something that requires deep thought on making a vital decision is required! These people are so F---Ed up to make you travel in a blizzard and for you too sit there and look out the window for the 8 hour s. See what your working for!

I woke up with my car covered in snow, and detours due to accidents on my way to work I called my manager to let him know I might be late. His response was you should of stayed closer to work. I don’t care how you get here you need to get here now. Meanwhile I get to work and there is 6 employees and 0 customers in the store. My safety is not important obviously. Screw this company!

Same here they said the DMs are on a conference call? What are they discussing? What to get for lunch, or we see a warm front approaching.

My store opened while nearly every store in the area closed. In our chat instead of managers being supportive and saying get to work safe be careful it was 'we know about the snow ahead of time be on time our dm will not accept tardiness'. F--- this company already.

Call in sick, or bring a sleeping bag and some food to stay at the store in case a customer comes in to get screwed.
