I am sorry to hear about the lack of leadership. Organize your store and contact CWA. It will be the best move you make.

I miss out old GM TJ! He did all kinds of good for our store. Then when he got fired for no good reasons, the store faultered. Then one by one good people left and left all losers at my store except me! It’s hard to work with all these people and be downed for doing my job the best in the store!

“My bad. Retail is so booming. No worries, your district must be the only one safe in the entire country.”

Did I say retail was booming? No, I didn’t. But to equate old signage (new logo is only a year old) to closing is ridiculous.

It’s not uncommon for stores to go without a gm for extended periods of time. I’ve seen it several times before. For all we know, all the candidates for the opening could’ve been terrible. You really want a terrible candidate running your store just so you can say the gm spot was filled in a timely (to you) manner?

It’s crazy to think though that there are ex Verizon employees that still obsess over the company and it’s employees. I couldn’t begin to imagine having that pathetic of a life.

Dude, your job is safe. All you need to do is learn to swallow a whole banana and get a pair of knee pads. That’s what your old GM did and it worked for her. That’s why everyone got fired for the crap she pulled while she was moved and demoted. Let us know if you want back. Verizon keeps the trash.

So by this logic my entire district is closing ::eyeroll::

Even my grandma bought her last phone online.

“Second, I would also reccomend a career move. Any Verizon minus the new signs will be closed within the next year. Verizon is going to a Whole Foods business model. This means that less stores (maybe 1-2 in an area) means more profit.”

First, I would personally reccomend some serious therapy.

Second, I would also reccomend a career move. Any Verizon minus the new signs will be closed within the next year. Verizon is going to a Whole Foods business model. This means that less stores (maybe 1-2 in an area) means more profit. They just built one new store in your geographical area.

That guy who has these rentals must be pretty smart. But to each his own. Most people just stay at the Verizon and whine and cry about their commission checks or LACK THEIR OF LOL instead of MAKING A CHANGE! They EEYORE AROUND ANS CRY LIKE A 25 yo baby

Good thing I live at home with my mommy and daddy. I’m over 40 and still haven’t moved out. Can’t get laid tho which is a minus, but I also am a slum lord on the side so I can always use that income to pay my car payments.

Hey neighbor.

That’s because your location’s RSS left some big shoes to fill.

I was wondering what happened to that GM.

But the sentiment in this post is exactly why I couldn’t work at vzw anymore. Always waiting for the next shoe to drop is no way to live.

They usually don’t backfill positions 4Q. Calm down.

Sell cars and trailers and buy cheap POS auto off craigslist and start driving south where it warm. Sleeping in car in cold nights gets tad chilly... Drive south to georgia, just south of mother USSR.

Well may want to start with having one trailer and see if you can cut down on the cars. If you don't get paid off you will soon so get ready. Cut cost. Look into business sales. You are in retail from what I can tell.

Look at Netflix vs blockbuster. Netflix used blockbusters assets against itself. The stores. Things are moving that way. People buy smartphone online for few dollars off.

You can move out of retail look for opportunity.

First priority is to yourself. If working at that store is discomforting for you then change occupations. VZ is not a long term employer any longer and time to realize that and move on on your terms, not theirs.
