Agile MIGHT make sense in the context for which it was designed: among other things, co-located dedicated teams. In at least VES IT, this was never the case, teams were located on different continents, and most people were on at least 3 projects frequently more. And then traditional PM/program managers still ask for status in the usual way. So it ends up not very agile.

Agile is the biggest scam in IT. Sold to s---ers by useless consultants. 40 people sitting daily in a meeting that should be between 2 people. Great way to save money. Not.

Your message is incoherent, but if you're suggesting no one has been "RIFed" at Verizon, you are mistaken. At least 16,000 (same say more) -- around 10% Verizon employees were notified one week ago that they were being "RIFed" (I was one of them). And the Verizon documents sent to me say I was "impacted by a RIF), not by an "agile".

Would want fries with burger. You not understand why verizon keep agile while elimination of bad worker continue? It all make sense, bottom line. Worker need to buy food, vodka. Shareholder need plane, high quality 420.

Looking at the VZ help wanted listings there are a lot of jobs listed and they still are listed after the RIF. So, I guess you are not doing a very good job in the retraining the agile workers.

Do you even know what a RIF is? Do you even work for VZW? If they don't even give the worker a chance to join in a 'reorganization' what else would you call it? Go back to McDonalds and flip some burgers.
