You are full of sh--. My own managers told me that it was a mess and that majority of the managers didn't know sh-- and just stood around signing people in while a few worked. I'm one to give credit where credit is due. But don't come on here acting like the current reps are not better than the managers. You and I both know it's always about who you know at ATT to get to manager status and it's rare for a actual hard working rep to be promoted to manager. Lol posted best weekend sales your so full of sh--
Just throwing out some informations here: AT&T COR made more money then any other weekend this year during the strike because of our ASM's. These people are proven high preforming sellers that are invested in their careers with this company.

“They chose to be a manager now live with why allow them to go back to occupational employee. Better to hire someone off the street that is loyal.”
So because someone wanted the opportunity to make more money for their family or to try to further their career, that makes them disloyal? That’s an extremely narrow minded point of view. It’s not like it’s the same position and you choose union or non-union. If you want to better yourself the only options are non-unionized positions. I start as the only ASM in a level III store effective 12/1. They made me an offer of $15k/year more than I currently make. I am a 4 time summit winning rep, consistently at the top of the board. I average about 21 wired sales per month, which is by far top in my ARSM and near the top of the DOS. In order to make an extra 15k as a rep, I’d have to sell an additional 36 wired units EVERY month (337 at risk. Current goal is 12= $28 per wired) which is nearly impossible to do. My wife went back to get her masters so I’m single income and I have two kids. So I don’t consider trying to get extra income to better my families future to be disloyal. I was union steward for 4 years. I ran for union president a couple years ago and finished 3rd in voting. I greatly appreciate the CWA and everything they helped accomplish.
I was told before I accepted the position there will be more surpluses coming. My ARSM wanted to be clear with me on that fact. He also said level III stores with less than 3 ASM won’t be impacted. My new store will only be approved for 2 ASM.
My point was when you CHOSE to be promoted to management that is were you loyalty should lie and no manger should have the option to return to the bargaining unit (And the union should not allow this to happen) they sure don't go out of their to promote occupational employees to find them a job when their surplused I would say get on careerpath and find you another management position.
Im a current ARSM and yes loyalty is a factor when a ASM request a demotion. But the way T is trending where some of my fellow ARSMs has been surplus i will let them do what they want if they fear that theyll lose their job. But again loyalty is a must. More waive is coming. Choose your position wisely
