Severance package

Whoever was laid off on 11/16 - what was your severance package?

I read 50k+2200/year-of-service + 6mo benefits.

Is it across the board?

I volunteered for the management RIF. My severance package is what is described by xba..on the payroll until 12/29.

The Medical benefits for 35 weeks (end of August). I get to keep my Blue Cross/Blue Shield till then.

"I work for about 9 years walked away with a package of around 25,768K"

I assume you mean $25,768, rather than $25,768,000 which would be very good (unless you were a top exec in which case it would be small...)

I work for about 9 years walked away with a package of around 25,768K. No 2017 STI or MBO.

The package you are describing is a buy-out offer for union represented employees of wireline.
