Watched as the carnage occurred then was marched out myself. System Performance & Ops got the brunt. Seems they targeted older personnel mostly. Engineering seemed unaffected with a few exceptions. Sad day indeed.

I was given a 30 day notice today. If I do not find a job in 30days in VZ I am out . Good Luck to everyone. My manager believes the company is getting sold.
SW ops lost 10% today. Engineering lost a couple as well

It was 10% for my group Lost my manager - best manager I'd ever worked for - as well as some other long time co-workers. Vaya con dios..
OP, Any wireless retail or support roles (marketing, ops, etc..) ?
