What’s the point with all the 2020 training for software development jobs when T is actively sending the work to India or contractors . T made an illusion that if you complete your 2020 training you will be on the path to job security but it’s a bunch of nonsense . My advice to all is to actively look for a different job OUTSIDE of the company

Cisco certifications are way out of date. They're worthless now. But even having a PhD in computer science won't save you at AT&T.
So true. A ruse. No amount of degrees, badges or Cisco certifications will save you, if you are union. There is no path to job security in this company.
