I’m beyond ready to chunk the deuce to this excuse of a company. Everything they do at every turn screws us. Most don’t get it or can’t see it. However, as a rep making 6 figures or at least I used to, it’s painfully obvious. I used to love this job. Now I dread a customer walking in and my shifts seem longer than ever. My goal now is to see how little work I can get away with. The leadership micromanages us to death. I just hate that I hate this place now. But I need those benefits for January so I gotta keep riding this train till then.

Dude I know it’s hard to comprehend because most reps s--- but it’s true. I know a few other guys doing it, making 6 figures. Granted it’s very rare and if you don’t know anyone doing it then it’s hard to believe. This was my 4th year with the company. I bought a 300k dollar house this summer and I have 2 trucks less than a year old. But I also have a pretty high hourly rate $17. So when you start hitting windfall @300% which is $3876 and getting time and a half it adds up. I used to get double time back in the good old days.
Btw idk where you guys are. Maybe it’s different down here in TX. Maybe we’re just more bad @$$. Lol.
Don't be drawn in, no rep has made six figures in retail since the mid 2000s. Every rep that's posts here always says they are in top echelon! I don't believe it.
People are so ridic on here. If you're making six figures you're busting your a-- every day in every aspect. Really sounds like OP has bad management however even being a top performer doesn't exclude you from getting sh-- from management. It all trickles down. Sure I could do nothing but move boxes every day and make a fat pay check but that's not was scorecard is graded on or what the directives of the uppers is based on. Balanced performance is where it's at. Granted if your are at the top of the leader board it would require that but sadly it's managements job to give you sh-- in the area you're lacking (not a manager my self) Truly I disagree with the way coaching and management works but fear apparently has always been the best tactic for V

Wireline techs still making 6 figures and only paying $30 a week in dues. Go union.
After 4 Yrs i put in my resignation this month. I made 6 figures last year and this year i was forecasting to make 20k Less. I am among top 2% performers in the company. Getting micro managed, my job threatened every week, and seeing the business change drastically the past 2 months was not my cup of tea anymore.
Leave before it’s too late!!!!!
