Anyone know anything about network employees being forced to one fiber?

Not sure what’s happening in the south. The outside facing groups (transport, site construction, etc) are losing their work to 3rd party shops. They’re keeping the Vz folks around just to push paper and be Sar-Box fodder. In some markets the contractors are actually running the bids. The poor Vz shmucks are there just to cut the POs and deal with the constant SOX nonsense. Management doesn’t care about results anymore, only managing the financials and keeping trackers up to date. They wont even turn up a new site for their customers until all the paperwork is filled out. The guy in charge must be from planet Vogon
Yep, happening out west in markets where Vz has very little lit fiber and absolutely no dark fiber. Go figure.
got 2 in my group. (Assurance Engineer) . Start for Fiber1 at the beginning of the year. What's next? Who the hell knows with this company.
