It’s more like a Kwanza bonus than a Christmas bonus.

@QOh4HKV-2lxm The announcement was that the bonus would be paid over the holidays if it was signed before Christmas, if it's not then it will be distributed once the President has signed it into law.

The bonus was contingent on the bill being signed before Christmas and its just be announced that it wont be signed until Jan 3. So no bonus this year. But really screw the bonus bring back jobs 1k isn't worth it especially when it gets taxed.

Randy means low wage jobs with few or no benefits.

I suspect he is more excited by the personal impact of the GOP tax cuts for the rich than it's impact on the company. After all, unless he can pull the TW deal off he will be out the door.

Maybe it is time to rename the company Accenture-TechMahrindra & Toadies.

Well the tax plan passed, Randall states new jobs and bonus for holiday. Did he forget we are laying off folks now in December. Think 1k bonus vs your job and dedication to this company.

the new jobs will be offered to younger, cheaper, workers with less experience, no secret what is going on here

Time warner deal should be contingent on not allowing layoffs for at LEAST 10 years. Along with creating more jobs for Americans by closing down overseas call centers and bring them back to america.

The impact on U.S. jobs should be a major factor in the TW deal.

Why are our elected representatives in Congress not publicly challenging Randy's lies?

Who is going to handle these job functions now with all these cuts?

AT$T is no longer in the business of creating good middle class jobs. It’s all about “reducing costs” aka cutting jobs and delivering fat bonuses to the executive team. Look at where the stock is at yet Randy is still employed. If any of us were to have performed like he has we would’ve been gone a long time ago.
