Pip never went away just stopped being enforced. Layoffs will HAVE to be based off seniority. performance and attendance must be on a progressive discipline aka one foot out the door or already at the last step In order to be used against you. Not going by seniority would Ben against the contract, they may announce a pip program though. Also, sick days are an earned benefit, if taken with Fmla it would be illegal to use that.
