so i’m hearing techs and possible retail stores may be impacted on 12/15 has anyone heard of any call centers closing, i know we lost el paso which my understanding was their last day was just resecent any info would help thanks guys.

Looks like the company is laying off everywhere but the Southeast. Yay for us!

12/15/2017 will be the first quarter 2018 surplus announcement for the South West, if there is one. I suspect YES. Likely Earth City, MO. NCT's as well as Systems Techs. We will see.
12/15 is the day those were notified in October need to be off the books if another internal job has not been found.
from what i’m hearing we will be safe this time, of you havnt had a sipp offering by now then your office is most likely safe.

Pledging 7000 jobs doesn’t mean keeping corporate jobs or any job related to AT&T or even maintaining said jobs.

Call center work is being outsourced for EG. too expensive to pay Workers in the US to answer phones.
Good info thanks! I know our call center is shrunk to approx 60 reps with capacity of 150 and 2 managers surplused last month we are in acquisition so we are all worried about a surplus, thanks for the info appreciate it.
