Really, fusioned quota and bucket with individualized multiplier for transitioning and commissioning? Wow! That is great news. The structured store and quota-based presumptions are logical and, I assume, expected. Combined quota leaves void re SM, GM SP, even DDT, I would imagine. Unsure a higher increase in hourly needed when bounced back off new offset practices driving the increase..

If this proves to be true, @rlo will have raised an interesting point at the end of his statement. It's pretty evident that there are too many managers in most stores. I've been expecting an RIF in SMs for a while. It would dovetail nicely.

From what I have heard store will have total combined quota and bucket but reps will have opportunity for individualized multiplier for their own sales. From the sounds of it they are keeping that individual multiplier as a easier way to transition into the new commission structure and from there will continue to move it to quota based on entire store. Interesting question that hasn't been confirmed though, if the store is moving to a combine quota what is the difference between a Solution Manager, General Manager or Specialist? If I was just a specialist and have to carry on the store quota as well I would be looking for a higher increase in my hourly.....what's the difference at the point between a manager and a rep? Good way to get rid of some extra managers though
