There's a constant stream of rumors here and in the club. But when they eliminate a job they give you 60 days to find a new position. They're going to eliminate paying as many bonuses as possible so people need to be out of the system before January 31st. That means they have until December 1st to announce the cuts and still eliminate you before the bonus cut off.

Pretty sad all the long time associates that will begone Dec1st it’s sad and my club is getting a decent bonus & of course I won’t get the bonus .I think we should get a majority of it but we won’t we are just making the big executives richer

Well our Costco is done with outside marketing as of this week in my area. Maybe this is why Sam's Club may be doing it. We follow Costco in everything they do. I just don't get the big push for sales pro just to be cut.
As long as your employed to January 31st your still entitled to the bonus

Well I hope they can live with themselves for this, but they will get theirs one day and know how it feels. Hope they ENJOY their holidays
Fine tune your resume and be prepared for it. I know it’s easier said than done but there are better jobs out there outside of retail. If anyone has worked at Sam’s Club there should be relief in knowing you can leave retails woes behind. Your job is not gone til it’s gone. Watch the patterns in how tasks are taken away from certain roles in office positions and be prepared if it’s your role that it happens with. I know it s---s waiting for it to happen but just know it’s going to happen because you were smart and noticed the pattern that led to it and not because you were blindsided totally. Again , job is not gone til it’s gone.
I’ve been thinking the same thing.Once the holidays are over there will be no need for the remainder of us.
