No you do not get 50% EPP if they let you go. My bill for two IPhones went from 124.00 to 303.00 as a job terminated cell tech for almost 14 yrs.

In my case when VZW yanked my discount they also removed my contract. I subsequently ported out with no ETF. You are responsible for anything owed on device installment.

"Because u could have a contract "

Well, if you are RIFd, within a certain amount of time (30 days?) you are allowed to cancel with no ETF.

For me, going from 50 to 25% was expensive, as they are are calculated on different things. I get 25% off the data, not the individual line fees, so the discount was way more than halved.

If u retired from wireless before July 1 '17, u get the 50%. After July, it'll go to 25%. I'm sure the 0% will come to everyone one day.

Wireline management gets 50%, wireline employees do not. If you leave Wireless under any circumstance other than retiring or transferring to wireline management, you lose the 50% discount.

If you resign, or are terminated or laid off you will lose all company discounts.

If you retire, there is a guideline that indicates whether you may be permitted to retain your discount.
