There is a lot of talk on multiple departments, will there be store closures, and or is it going to effect the Retail Channels? And if so how will it? Several have went Indirect......

It wouldn't make any sense to lay off retail employees right before the holidays its the busiest time of the year. If they are going to do it probably february-april
The most common/reliable theories point to closing call centers and layoffs in retail ops and support positions like training. Haven't heard anything particular about store staff but I wouldn't be surprised if SMs are hit this round. I think stores will be closing but I think they will do that a few at a time, spread around, and not as a part of the layoff because that's bad PR. Customers don't care if staff is reduced but if they hear stores are closing they'll get angry. Verizon will do that later and keep it quiet so it's not a big news report and then they'll put an authorized retailer in there so the customers don't realize anything is different.
