I'm sick and tired of taking the blame for everything that goes wrong because my manager is covering up something he did and he is finding a scapegoat in me or one of my coworkers. And it drives me bonkers that there is no recourse we can take regarding this. We tried once but it came back to bite us in the a--, so we are just letting it go. Anybody else have any experience in these situations? Is there anything to do? (I'm in accounting.)

@Q1jAMly-ocl I agree, I see the same thing happen in my area
The biggest problem with the company is the lack of accountability on all levels. We have a culture where leadership refuses to put in the work to hold people accountable. There is no consistency. This is why we are failing. They brush everything under the carpet.
The key is documentation. You've got to document things so if something does come back to bit you, there is a paper trail. Have you actually talked to your manager?
You've posted on the "layoff" website. This isn't the right place for your question.
