Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Reliable source

I was told by a very reliable Verizon employee, who is not just a entry level guy, that Verizon wireless plans on phasing out corporate call centers completely within the next 7-10 years. Verizon wants to put it all on the shoulders of 3rd party vendors and cut more then 10billion from their expenses. Verizon has already sold all of their towers, and now leases tower space. As far as them losing customers they are bleeding money and losing customers by the thousands to Sprint and at&t because they are so proud of their unlimited data and charge an exuberant amount vs all the other cellular carriers.

"plans on phasing out corporate call centers completely within the next 7-10 years."

this company isn't looking past 3 quarters right now, this makes me think the whole story is BS.

"Verizon has already sold all of their tower"

Not true, maybe 60%.

"losing customers by the thousands"

Net gain for Q3

"exuberant amount vs all the other cellular carriers."

Family of 3 is in the same ballpark

I rate your thread 10/10

It didn't sell most of it's towers THAT long ago, 2015 for example:

They may have added 600k customers but the company debt went up to $117.6 BILLION. That is a lot of red ink for sure.

They are not losing customer to Sprint, etc.

In fact they had 600K net adds last quarter.

Your reliable source is probably mail man.
