Donovan's org is cutting 30% of costs in the form of layoffs. Notifications going out this week. Most will be on wireless side.
One reason for the surplus is due to TW merger. AT&T needs to raise the stock price up quickly.

The ones that filled out the survey will be notified if they are going to be laid off in October. This depends on how many volunteers elected to leave. At least that is what I understood. Numbers I am hearing are up to 30%. I have not confirmed it yet.
