I was on the call yesterday with the employees that WILL NOT be affected by the layoff. However, my manager emails me and ask where you not invited to yesterdays call? No, I was not. Meaning I should have been in the affected layoff call they had the day before. As of this email, I've not had anyone call and state -- sorry we made a mistake you are in the affected work group.

Employees with connections also get to keep their AT&T jobs, I have seen that. They are placed in positions protected by their mentors and moved around when in jeopardy - no matter their age, salary, or lack of relevant skills. The good old boys network.
