Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

To those saying just quit

If you are telling people who are complaining here to "just quit," your comments are neither useful nor emphatic. If it was that simple, most of us would have done it by now. However, there are hundreds of valid reasons that are keeping people from being able to simply pick up and leave, be it family related or simply lack of available jobs in the area. This site is for layoffs and everything relating to layoffs, which includes rants by overworked and underpaid employees who desperately need a place to simply vent among people who are going through a similar thing they are. Give us at least that without your smart-a-- comments. And on that note, rant over.

You don't know what people's situations are. This is a free site where you can voice your opinion freely and anonymously. So are stuck because of pay, some because of health insurance, some fear at their age it's too hard to start over. At the end of the day it's no ones business but their own.

Would saying it another way help you??? I mean I want to make sure I’m being as empathetic as possible for you:

Maybe it’s time to move on?

There’s the door?

Exit stategy commence?

Bugger off?

Bye, bye, bye?

@PscD4GO-2jfe Great comment!!! However, it will fall on deaf ears... they just whine and cry. Point the finger at someone else.

Last time I checked Walmart didn't hold a gun to your head and make you work there. They told you what you were going to be paid and you still signed on. You came to work for years...

It's not there fault you backed yourself into a corner. If your job was so bad maybe you could have found ways to improve your potential for a new job. Take some online classes. Vocational training. Start a small busines. Learn a second language..only takes a little effort on your part. Save more of your money. Dont go into debt. Dont buy the newest phone or the biggest tv. Don't spend so much money to have someone else paint your nails. Its not easy but it can be done. Don't blame walmart for you bad choices.
