I think Glen lost his key advocate when Ralph left. Glen wanted to lead, but Stanley was picked to lead. Glen's options were probably take a downgrade or leave.

I really liked Ralph De La vega. He was smart enough to know, that we should not piss off our existing DSL and POTS base. He was instrumental in the Iphone ATT exclusive launch. He wanted to upgrade the existing network and not abandon the customers we already have. Randall doesn't give a sh-- about existing legacy customers. A real turd.

Because he didn't get the spot that Donovan has now. I was under the impression this was common knowledge.

The smart ones are leaving. AT&T is transforming from a company that provides content access, to a company that provides content. We really are not that concerned about having an actual network. Randall has already stated that our future revenues will be derived from advertising. This company is no longer an innovator. We buy our way into the big leagues. Or try to. This company will NEVER be a Google or Amazon. We are not smart enough. The truly bright leaders and innovators will pass on AT&T's restrictive and suffocating corporate culture. A culture of manufactured efficiency numbers and spreadsheet management. AT&T will always exist in some form, but will never be a leader in the entertainment industry, which is their desire.
