Making us prepare everything for our own demotion

How many others think it is BS that we have to train everyone on the machine that is replacing us before we get demoted?

This is what I find especially low and upsetting about this whole thing, and I am sure we are not the only ones. I am sure none of the top brass see anything wrong with it, though.

Pov3knV-1foi. the full time lead should have the 16 however you will have to apply so see that your career preference is correct. the 2 pt jobs will have to be opened as acct assoc pt. that’s if the club does it correctly. i’m sure i would have the 16 but not sure my pt assoc would be given the job, actually doubtful. however i don’t intend to stay so it could be interesting as to what happens

Not all clubs are receiving the machine. FIO clubs are not affected just yet.

I know of 3 clubs in my market that are not affected, yet. I was told it would still be coming, just maybe in the next y months to a year.

Well as it stands now I used to get 24 hrs, then it cut to 20, and now I am at 16. I will be getting the 12 hr portion as the other part time associate has seniority. It is such a slap to the face. My lead will be leaving. And to top it off it i want more hours I have to change my primary job code due to the fact that the hours you work, 51%needs to be in your primary job code. So that would only let me get an extra 11 hrs a week. What was failed to be mentioned was if I change my primary code to say a cashier I will lose pay because it is a Tier A slot. So I would need to try and get a Tier B position. I have so much anxiety over this.

We were told there would be an accounting associate scheduled only 4 hours each day. How is severance calculated ?

It's 28 total hours available in accounting. So one part timer gets 16 and the other gets 12. That's what was informed to me when they let me know

Yes that is the case....Accounting is expected to remain in position for the next 60 days with the machine coming in October and are expected to transition everything to this and train everyone on it's use. This is a straight slap in the face to every lead it is affecting.
