Interesting Molina is laying off and the #hcsrenewal job postings seem to be related to expansion in the home health arena, maybe humana is aquiring Molina...they got a payout for not doing the merger with Aetna, maybe they're buying a home health agency...Molina had quite a bit of ACA folks, and maybe they're in areas for humana to expand into ...

Humana has stated repeatedly that the goal is to acquire an established and successful home health business. The long term strategy is to provide care in the home--where people want to be.
Maybe Molina, they have the accreditation in place
Humana focuses a lot about in home care this year in the townhall meetings . This makes sense they Would acquire someone. Not sure who
From the Molina postings , which kind of supports the OPs idea
Some very much needed positions, say for accreditation, have now been cut. Also, some counties' provider service teams (among others) have been left completely bare-bones. It's to the point where they can't really even functions. This leads me to believe, especially with the leadership demotions/cuts, that Molina is being streamlined to be acquired. There is already someone doing ours jobs at whatever company is going to buy Molina, so even if you made it through this round, it is just the beginning.
Heard more cuts are coming at the end of September and December.
Molina will be bought. If you're left, probably be laid off in March.
Interesting point
