Correction. 278 non management affected. Last I heard they had about 400 with the difference from mobility. What would make it funny if it wasn't bad news is that the news is reporting that the non affected (mobility) will be moved to 1575 N Resler in El Paso. They moved all the staff out over a year ago to Founders citing "high costs" of maintaining the Resler center! Can we say "doublespeak"? And those customer reps that choose to follow the job will not retain their current job title and will be filling "leveraged" rep positions (lower paying).
Most T Call center shutdowns are to save cash by design, I doubt the employees will have the option to relocate to other call centers, hurry!! And start applying for the non existent job openings,I just hope they don't decide to cut the severance package again
