McAdams Says $10 Billion In Cost Cuts By 2022 To Save Dividend

Well, well, well. The cats out of the bag now. McDumbass just said $10 billion in cost cuts to save the dividend. Where do you think those cuts will come from? I'm sure he won't be taking a pay cut along with his worthless leadership team.

So basically he values the dividend over employees. Because you know that $10 billion is going to come from chopping vteamer heads. Get ready!

So glad I can just sit back and watch all the b---s--- the VZ is doing. Losing customer, losing money, and falling apart. I was let go last November and I've been so relieved to tell everyone the truth about how VZ runs it's business. If you're still employed at VZ, I'd start planning for a different path cuz it's gonna get worse soon and by then, you can't say you're surprised to lose your job and be pissed. Good luck!!

Good. Tired of my scumbag director gallivanting across Europe for mouthfuls of foreskin while doing nothing. Literally NOTHING except running up massive credit card bills. I wouldn't even care if he'd come back even a little bit smarter or slightly useful. The only resource my projects get are my sack sweat. Those bums can use webex like the rest of us.

McLoser can cut away. The right projects don't get funds or resources anyway. My group doesn't approve consultant travel requests so no losses there for me. I don't care at all.

Everybody just calm down! Everything will be good! Just do your job as usual and nothing more. The more they take the less they will get from the workforce.

Well, this is no bullsh . I have worked for two very large companies both union shops , and I have owned a franchise for 10 years. I hated every minute I worked for these union jobs but I knew going in I was there for the money and benefits it was about me and my family not about being treated a certain way of course you exaggerate, it was never that bad. I wish you the best in your career path and hope your happy being treated as a human and making less money and benefits. I hope that doesn't come back to bite you in the a someday! Maybe I'll see on on the golf course some day. Life is very good!

Clearly we were raised with different values. Though I won't disclose where I work it does indeed have less benefits than VZW but I don't care because I love working here and we have a very family like atmosphere here. They take great care of their employees and respect them more than I ever saw from VZ. That you cannot put a price on.

You are very naive , there are companies that have the same expectations as VZ and pay way less. It is absolutely about the money and benefits as a hourly worker . Please tell me of what companies you speak. I will say that at the end of a long career with a company like VZ you can hold your head high because you adapted to all the bullsh** and were rewarded in the end and have a quality of life that many do not have.

In regards to the last post.

Some things in life are more important than money. People deserve respect and deserve to be treated as a human. You shouldn't have to put up with anyone's sh-- for anything. Plenty of companies that value and respect employees and actually show their appreciation.

Jump ship? What's your value outside Verizon? Yes you put up with a lot os sh** and nobody tells you you do a good job and that is because this company is too big for those kind of accolades . As you know your boss is being told what to do as is his boss and so on. You are being paid a good buck and great benefits and I would say ride it out as long as you can because at the end of your career if you are fortunate you will have a pension and medical benefits that rival most. I mean folks way more educated then I wish they had my benefits.

@nhb - so your saying we shouldn't believe what we are told about how Verizon values employees? Values us?

You mean they lied to us??? But the credo! Integrity!

Really, was there ever a question in your mind that the CEO of a $120 billion company had your best interest in mind? That CEO lives in a world you can't imagine and surprise he doesn't even give a thought about you, your family or your needs.
