I heard they may close many retail locations by 1/1 and 2/1. I'm starting to believe this to be true. Two really good DMs just got promoted, removing them from the chopping block. They are also moving a ton of reps and managers around in my district. Mostly the good reps are being moved to Smart stores and high volume stores, stores that won't be cut.

Yes, except for specific stores they are not giving out the smart attire allotment until next year
Really? $200 to update the salespersons wardrobe for Christmas?, I got a AirTouch jacket once 15 years ago.
Yep the 11/1 meeting is confirmed according to the calendar app on the phone in my hand.
Also worth noting that annual benefits enrollment starts 11/2, which is later than any other year for the last several years.(usually occurs in mid oct) and... retail smart attire dates are different this fall as well..., no use in giving everyone $200 to spend two weeks before we RIF you or close your store!
