So many positions are getting outsourced at Verizon, I was wondering why don't we simply outsource the top tier management? We'll save millions, and only a few people will be affected. I know it will be hard on them, but I'm sure they'll understand. After all, it's for the good of the company and shareholders. I vote yes.

@1swm your are dead right. Anytime I've asked HR for information or assistance, the best they can do is provide a link, typically wrong, to eweb.
My impression is HR is the place the truly talentless and listless people can find jobs.
If true and HR / Payroll has all those RIFS to process, HR won't receive their pink slips until the EO October or possibly next month. Too bad because that will be the most work they've done all year.
This week the finalists for the 2017 RIF will be selected by the management teams to go to HR and payroll for processing, Then the managers RIF list will go to the ED's for their approval and forwarding to HR and payroll, and the ED RIF list will go to the VP's for their approval and processing. I bet its a fun time at corporate these days.
Marni outsourced herself when she didn't get the big promotion. So there are two scenarios:
She didn't get the position on the team so she's taking her ball and going home,... or
She got fired for three years of failure.
What do you all think?
I vote marni to get into spandex and put some hot pics on the Web since that's all she's good for
I can get behind this.
It's sarcasm, by the way, in case somebody feels the need to explain why this is impossible.
