Has anybody else heard that front end team leads are also going to be let go? I'm honestly not sure what the thinking is of Sam's Club big honchos with all of these changes. When everything is put together, it reads like a recipe for disaster. Anyhow, any info on this would be highly appreciated.

I am a marketing lead and know that my position is probably next. After a year of hard work and increasing my club numbers to meet our goal for Sam's share to get axed before it is released is an insult. I do all of my associates evals and attendance. Management doesn't look at attendance until they cannot get coverage. One minute plus and credit are important then how cares this for everyone not just cashiers. Getting told that not hitting goal on business focus is unexceptionable, but open your eyes I worked every one of my departments to ensure coverage. Let's not forget that we don't get information early enough to plan ahead anymore. But yet we plan three months ahead for events and drives. A little less on meetings and more working at club level will help HO understand that they are why we are failing.
If we assume the rummors are true, membership manager and team lead goes away, front end Manger inherits the desk associates and all that goes along with that, so by default the front end team lead now is over the desk as well (willing that position is kept) so what I'm saying is does anyone think they would be getting rid of lead Mss with more associates and responsibility coming to the "front end team" That's the way I'm trying to look at it ( I'm a lead Mss) has anyone for sure heard that lead Mss is going or is just a suspicion?

They give pennies on the dollar for these positions. when they eliminate you they take $3 how and the hell is this legal. How can they do this give you .20 and take $3 crazy.
Yes there has been chatter they've never had a manager and a lead at the same time. The leads don't do paperwork, schedules, hiring, or evaluations anymore. We all just walk around like a regular Cos. They pretty much are just a Cos like the others. There's not much focus on plus and credit it's all about scan n go.
