I came in today and found out my September check went up by $600. Verizon went to bat and got us a 13% quota reduction for last month. They didn’t have to do that, they did it to help me and my family. They’re not going to lay any of us off. As long as we band together and execute on the fundamentals and emphasize growth with every customer, Verizon will never let us down.

You are delusional if you think that working hard will protect you. I was always performing, always hit 10-50% above quota, and always contributed to my store being #1 or #2 in the district. I was there over 20 years. I got laid off because I made too much money. Yes, they cut the lazy reps but also the older ones who make too much. Always have an updated resume and a plan B. In fact when you ask your customer where they work, make a note of the companies that interest you. You may have to be knocking on their door for a job before you know it.
Unfortunately, there are many in the stores that feel that way. They will not wake up even when management is walking them out the front door.

You don’t mean anything to Verizon, you are simply a body in a position. I was laid off after 17 years, when I asked why they said it was because I made too much money.
Verizon has become too greedy and it’s really starting to show.
The good news I’ve found a job with a new company and things couldn’t be better. Such a blessing to get out!

The only people VZW hates more than its customers are its employees.
Verizon did give 13% quota relief but the same quato for Sept is Oct by few boxes. Verizon did this so Nov. they can jack up quota n make what they gave back for last a month. iPhone x will be another joke
Verizon could pay us like walmart does. I love working at verizon. I live customers. I dislike my boss. I love lowell, if he were 50 years younger I'd marry him.
That's total b.s.. Only way this is true - is if your store was impacted by the hurricane. Stop spreading lies. Verizon isn't going to give you more money just because you didn't meet your quota.
What a cute post likely from one of the HR reps that has nothing better to do with there day then look at Verizon posts from employees that could give two sh--s about a small decrease in quota. Hmmmm did this have anything to do with the iPhone launch being a total joke. Now they can jake up quota for November. It all evens itself out. Verizon doesn't do things just in the best interest of the employees they never have and they never will. So thankful I only have a few weeks left of this hell hole
Quota is cut so that when it rolls up the chain, the higher ups get their big bonuses.
Explain to me then why my October quota is the same as my September quota???? ( Before the releif ) And we haven't been told that October is being lowered.....
