There's been talk and whispers about many wireless reps and managers talking with unions and trying to become union before they begin more store closings. Lots of smaller stores especially. Look for it within the next month to 2. It's happening.

Actually yes, you are anti-union.
It's like the old song asks: "which side are you on?"
You can't be on both sides.
Retail workers, if you feel you have been mistreated, I will be honest, I can't guarantee unionizing can save you. I CAN guarantee there is NOTHING you could do that would piss off his Royal Highness more than you guys unionizing.
Overall unions were good for this nation; just look at how things are today... unions in the USA are almost gone, and so is our middle class.
Some wireless stores did I heard a few in NY and MA. Atleast some people have the balls to stand up for themselves
If a plan is in place to transition from corporate owned retail to indirect retail, not even Hurricane Irma can knock it off track, especially if VZW sees this plan as a cost saving measure. And let's be honest, they must, because nothing but money would motivate the company.
I think wireless going union now is too little too late. I'm not anti-union but I couldn't bring myself to support CWA. They treated those of us working in stores too poorly, at least in my area. But seriously, what's the strongest weapon a union can fight with? A strike? Sure, go ahead and walk off your job from a company that doesn't even want you there anymore... give them a dry run so they can see what it would look like, and how much cash they'd save, if they didn't have to pay their retail salaries and commissions anymore. That'll show 'em.
I hate that I sound like such a "roll over and give up" attitude, but I think time is better spent reading the writing on the wall and prepping next moves. Take advantage of VZW benefits while you can, further your educations, start networking with people who've left and are happier on the other side.
Wireless going union,i dont believe that verizon would let that happen...
XO employees which Verizon took over joined the union. They saw what Uncle Lowells been rewarding takeover employees with.
You're lying.
Retail stores are up $hit Creek. Union ain't going to fix it.
I suspect the OP has a hidden agenda in that silly post, that of provocateur. Yet the rank and file didn't fall for it.
Nice try troll.
Verizon is the ultimate ponzi scheme that combines the worst of union labor with monopoly politics that guarantees you will get screwed no matter how 'loyal' you think you are...owning equity in your own business is the only way forward for YOU !
Was it a "wink Wink" or is this birdie a stool pigeon???
EISP coming 2017 for alot of employees. Grab one if you can and are able...
If they were smart they would unionize. They just had massive layoffs months ago now wireless frontline workers are doing double the work without compensation and still being hit with aggressive sales goals. How many times does someone get screwed over before they say enough is enough?
They either don't know better or too ignorant to realize they're being screwed over left and right
I also have heard the same thing from several reps and a couple solution managers. I think our store is about to be union I guess it was voted in favor for. I have only been here a couple months what does that mean for me?
