Just got word that wireless managers from other regions are being sent to Texas to help

They sent retail gms to help the stores
Verizon will send anyone anywhere there is a disaster. It is not to help. It is to grab government money. During hurricane Sandy recovery, techs were sent from western pa to go do new installs in Camden nj. Third level got fed up and sent them back, cause he had a heart(he has been forced out couple year s ago). When a state claims state of emergency it makes funds avaliable for disaster recovery. There are companies like VZ that abuse those funds for their own gain. It's disgusting! I'm glad I don't work there anymore. Not worth the money.
Doesn't Texas have enough problems already? Why would Verizon add to them?
There is no Fios in Texas.... So there is no Fios I&M Techs going to Texas.
I dont think VZ would send anybody too help anybody anywhere ,they are selfish company
Cause most of the employees from retail stores have no homes, so instead of expecting them to work they are staffing impacted stores with volunteers....the trolls on here are amazingly bad
If this OP is true, it shows just why verizon is 5 years away from oblivion. You wouldn't send wireless managers to texas, you would send wireline techs 1st, wireless techs/reps 2nd, wireline management 3rd, and lastly, wireless management (can ya say worthless?), last, if at all, so don't think this post is true.
As an outside worker.. The way the management has treated us,,, we are not going anywhere... When a manager ?'s you because you took 2hrs on a repair and not 1 3/4 hours and then suspends you without pay for misuse of company time.. why on earth would you volunteer to go to a disaster area where it will mean your end?
G M s from different stores . One would assume they would help retail stores in TX or volunteer@ vz sponsered events . Not do physical installs .

2 all the $ spend on air fair could have kept retail jobs .
