CWA is Weak

Yes I know the feeling I was surplused two times.... ... with no representation from the fine CWA.... both times in bed with the company.... a waste of money right there... I got out of the union and have never made a smarter choice.

Right, if only the union was gone so T could raise everyone's pay and benefits.

If the union did not exist even managers would be paid less and have worse benefits.

Cwa dropped the ball big time

They better try and bribe employees to strike because a lot aren't now. They had 90% strike attendance and now it will be 40% if not lower

OP is correct. I was surplused last year and the CWA did not want to do anything to help me find another job with the Company.(I was a 15 year member at the time) At the surplus meeting, our local president said it was completely up to us to find an open position. I found a job with T in another city, and I promptly got out of the CWA.

Both in bed, I would look somewhere else where you actually get paid for your skills

Amen brother!! My CWA reps in North Carolina only care about time off and eating hot dogs at the monthly meetings.
