Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Wells Fargo Upper Level Managment Takes a major hit

Late last week employees of Wells Fargo were informed of a dramatic re-alignment of regional presidents. Many long term employees were released after the company carefully thought out its response to scandals over the past couple years. Those released were some of the highest paid employees of the bank. Some of these who were let go are reported to be big ego's who felt they were Teflon at Wells Fargo. Employees at some banks actually held parties (after work on their own time) when the news came out that these cruel managers who drove the numbers and the subsequent scandals were finally rewarded for their bad treatment of staff and their push to boost numbers.

I don't see any movement at our site. It's almost like we are in a bubble and they act like we are untouchable. There have been no meetings to truly speak on what is happening, not even fake reassurance. So I just sit there and type. It's depressing, but honestly I feel trapped after nearly 10 years.

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Minneapolis punish the loyal employees and the supervisors and managers let the slackers get away with " i don't care how you get the numbers, just get them". Where is the integrity and honesty? It is sad and many good older workers are going to be let go of course its a secret.......shh, don't tell.

I work for Wells Fargo Mortgage, in Minneapolis I can feel the changes, in the next few months Wells is going to lose a lot of good people! The culture that use to be employee and customer centric has become an assembly line, and toxic! I have been here for almost 15 years and I can tell you this is no longer the place to work in the financial industry! Processor are applying at other companies and sales people are dropping like flies! I actually wish they would lay me off so I could take time to job search. I am a manager with several direct reports, I do what I can to shelter them, but the environment at the campus here s---s!

This goes way deeper than the banks or insurance. The whole company pushes production and quality standards that are at times unobtainable. It stopped being about the customer a long time ago. Most days I pray for a layoff, but know I need my job. The fear of being of being let go because the standards aren't kept are always there.

It's good then those bad managers making good money got fired, now fire Tim Sloan and all his direct reports and the entire board.
