This is getting absurd. Quotas are outrageous. Goals are unnatainable unless you are a shady sales rep which is what they want but they don't want to know about it. Pure greed. We need to stand up and stand together. Nothing will change unless we change it. They tell us the company has changed and we need to change and adapt there's so much more we sell and offer now.....that is correct but we should make more money not less. They are trying to get us to quit or fire us so they don't have to pay a severance package. They are pushing us out the door. It's easier if we leave on our own bc were not making the money we used to vs paying us to leave. We will all be indirect soon anyway.

It's cheaper to have you leave of your own accord than to make you leave.
We are making a choice not to go union at this point. Why else would the company make us sit through anti-union propaganda every Friday morning meeting? The dues are tax deductible and at least it would give us a fighting chance of being paid something. We already have seen plenty of what happens when we don't unionize.

Quotas will continue to go up because my $18 million salary says so. And the yaght isn't paid off. So there's that. Besides we give you all these great products to sell like : HUM, GO90, HUM and One Talk... Marni is brilliant. They all are. Did you see the stock, it's up today! Hey by the way, our indirect partners are hiring and I heard starting pay is $12 an hour and you have the option to buy Obamacare. It's a win win. You still get to sell Verizon products while saving us money on your salary and benefits!

Quota gets higher every month and you make less every month
You're expected to sell 4-5 times what you did last year to make the same you did last year or more
Your workload continues to increase. No opps or techs and you are doing tech work and opps work without compensation and without quota being adjusted to reflect that?
Wireless workers are gluttons for punishment and at this point there's literally nothing the company can do to make them think otherwise

Wireline union guy here.. Union can't do anything for you if they want to suspend or fire you for stuff.... BUT they are a good deal, if you follow all vz rules... we used to have union meetings and there were 75 people there now they don't even have them anymore since less than a dozen still used to go. In summary, I guess union dues of 25$ a week is better than non union, mainly just so they can't walk in one day and fire you because they don't like the way you look, or whatever...

I am a wireless guy and generally not a fan of unions. With that being said there is nothin more that I would love to see than VZW go union and fight back against the powers that be. OP laid out a very good case of how the current system is broken, with no fix on the horizon. If leadership won't fix it, force their hand. Your either gonna remain non union and enrich the inept current C-Levels or enrich the crooked union leaders. Why not force some much need change?
