This is a cold blooded company that is ran somewhat like the mafia. GOD forbid the time Warner deal falls through
We all know what happened to Laurie and De La Vega: they were tired of seeing great people get shafted so they're moving on with millions in their pocket.

It is just Karma, these bad actors did not criticize the re-orgs, but they left AT&T as soon they feel things weren't working out, Isn't that is what...AT&T management philosophy is......you can tell this cartel lives for the day, When what goes around comes around.? For De La Vega the MX fiasco, after Donavan took his Job?... is just an example of what happens BEFORE the ship goes down
My guess is Donovan didn't want him on his staff and he's being paid a bundle to leave quietly.
Probably heading over to Time Warner, before the merger happens, just like all the other big wigs in the area.
We had a few long time VP's all of a sudden "retire" and before you knew it, started with time warner.

What really happened to de la Vega? Anyone know?
Maybe he already found a better position at another company. Maybe he did not want to move from Atlanta to Dallas? Didn't Ralph de la Vega also "retire" shortly after he moved to Dallas?
