I heard of massive cuts over in outsourcing (IBM Go to Market). A friend of mine was on a call yesterday and even senior engineers are at risk for layoffs. they had the nerve to ask for volunteers. I mean if they really want people to volunteers why not sweeten the pot? He says he will not volunteer, they will have to push him out.
Found this in another thread, but I have not heard about this. Can anybody confirm this?
