Where I am in Marketing half the staff is actively looking, and the other half is hoping for a layoff. Confidence in management was never great, but now it's non-existent.
Same here. We already had a few people leave, and there is a bunch looking left and right for an opportunity to follow them. At this rate, Wells Fargo will not need layoffs. Everybody will leave on their own.

Yes, by making the environment hostile they can get voluntary attrition so they don't have to pay severance or unemployment benefits and besides without cross selling which was their primary means of "marketing" and signing up customers with accounts without their knowledge or permission they're pretty much screwed to find a way to get new customers to drive growth.
