Will there be layoffs coming the end of this year? I asked my manager and he think nothing is affecting our group for this year but maybe next year....

Which center in Florida is closing down?
We have been told that our center in Florida will be closing by end if year.
And as soon as the TW deal closes they will be laying off like they do after every merger/acquisition
They are still on the 2020 plan. When you make the decision to become a software based company (like Google or Amazon -- their words; not mine) you do not need the headcount that is currently on the payroll. If you watched the transformation series of videos, there was little doubt in my mind that the company would be leaner by 50-70% by 2020. In other words, do the math.
