Verizon announced they're closing the Denver call center entirely and laying off all the former XO employees. This was one of the main centers. No idea how the other centers are going to balance the huge assortment of new responsibilities. Sounds like they're setting XO up for failure. So much for XO and Verizon being "better together".

Working in Saginaw, just doubled our workload with no sign of hiring new people. Wonder how long we'll last within Verizon.
I just imagine the remaining XO employees will eventually be reassigned to Highlands Ranch. It's actually not a bad place, as far as Verizon locations go.
Not all of the XO employees in Denver are being impacted. Only in certain departments. There were no impacts on my team.
There is life after VZ, less stressful life at that. Sorry to hear so many more being let go. I was in the October 2015 batch of folks laid off. It will all work out.
I feel for you. I've gotten laid off in Plano location in May.
No opportunity for XO Denver employees to transfer to the Verizon Business call center at Highlands Ranch?
They are getting rid of the whole XO finance department as well. Some are going in August and others in October. They were all notified in June it is coming.
Sorry, you have been Verizoned
Salt Lake City Utah also had Layoffs today too.
