We are well aware of the major year-end rif coming. Has anyone heard if there is one coming sooner?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there will be 2 rounds before the end of the calendar year: a small one within a few weeks of the July 27 earnings report and a big one in the October/November timeframe. You're only safe if you are an "under-represented minority" under 45. Everyone else, beware. Leadership intends to turn HQ into a multicultural kindergarten by 2018.
Read 2,100 RIFs expected from Yahoo/AOL post-merger close, but had not heard that it had happened yet. Earnings results coming 7/27, stock down ~20% YTD, cutting some expense/heads if they miss the number would be consistent.
Sinking ship, going down fast, times are changing and Verizon leadership lacks the intelligence to know which direction to go. Thanks Verizon cloud! I love my T-Mobile service!

It's obvious the buffoon was not interested in 3Q rifs. They were interested in making eoy rifs a foregone conclusion in your mind. No rifs coming.
i am working from home and trying to hide myself, staying low key. Hope they won't find me.
Of course there will more RIFs. Revenue is not keeping pace with promises to Wall St. on profits and the dividend. They are already cutting expense budgets to the bone, and where that fails, people are next.
There's no pipeline of new products and Oath won't make up for the revenue drops elsewhere.
Marni and her toadies failed to deliver for three years and now the company is out of time.

I can't imagine Verizon having anymore layoffs due to the tremendous growth that's happening in the communications sector especially with the brilliant leadership.
Who is "we"? Tell me more about the year end RIF this collective "we" know about.
